Ying Chow Chinese Restaurant - Adelaide

Amazing food.. all time favourites - Chinese red pepper chicken, green vegetables and the hot & sour seafood soup. Its one of the busy restaurants on Gouger Street.. a must try for all foodies!!

Australian Chinese food 5/5. Service 3/5. Chinese Chinese food 1/5. An institution? You must be joking. The best part about my first and last visit to Ying Chow was the service. And we all know what service at a low cost Chinese joint is like - curt and efficient at best, which it was. No self-respecting Chinese person would eat here. The food was greasy and crude, no homage to real Chinese cuisine. I felt the urge to rinse my mouth out.

The e-shand chicken is just delicious. Salivating just thinking about it . The prawn noodles are just too good ..the wait to get a table at times is just annoying but it's worth the wait

The service is always prompt but unfriendly. Food is consistently good and arrives in no time. Recommend for a cheap and easy option. No frills but very reasonably priced and always open!

How good is this place. So consistent, so honest and easily the best 'bang-for-buck' Chinese food in Adelaide. The duck is world class. Will be back again and again and again
