I saw that the restaurant was very close to where I was staying so I decided to take a chance. A warm and inviting atmosphere greets you. The front of the house was empty and since I couldn't get a table outside, there was one available by the open window that was a good alternative. The menu is not large but is varied enough with steak, risotto, lamb swordfish and pastas on the menu. The restaurant was a bit nicer for a Berlin restaurant, but still had a semi-casual vibe. I started with a pistachio and peach salad with balsamic crema. It was serviceable but nothing special. Plus, they salted the salad and I hate that. I ordered the herbed crepes with ricotta and asparagus in a red sauce for my entree. It was light and flavorful. The pasta was homemade which was a nice touch. They have a large wine list I had the waiter select a glass for me. The service can be a bit slow, but this is Europe and Berlin, so it's nothing unusual. If I needed something, I could just signal the waiter to come by. That said, it was a bit of a wait between courses, so sip some wine and relax : . I was too full to try the dessert. I will be back to Berlin for work and will definitely be back here when I tire of the German food.
