Blue Anchor Restaurant - Cornwall

This spot is right near the water. We sat on their sunny patio. We ordered white Italian Pinot, light but refreshing. The fish and chips was crispy, the side of coleslaw was delicious and so was the tartar sauce and fries. The service was professional....The bathrooms were very clean. Overall such a pleasant experience.

Fresh food with great prices. Love sitting on the deck over looking the river. Excellent location. Quick and friendly service.

Was out for a drive on Saturday showing the in-law's around Eastern Ontario. Came across the Blue Anchor. Went in, staff were welcoming, and overall very friendly place. My wife had the perch and I the chicken ranch wrap. Both very good meals. I had...coffee, which was a never ending cup, I was the driver..... Overall a great experience, will be making a point to going there again when in the neighborhood!

Beautiful sunny day, terrasse was a little sparse could use a little something to spruce it up! Pub food, there is better and there is worse around. Perch roll their specialty is overpriced while the fish and chips their big seller seems to be a...great deal. Staff that have been there forever and are very welcoming. The place itself is in dire need of a face lift! That said, at the end of the day you come here for the view on a sunny day.

The Blue Anchor offers a lovely location on the St. Lawrence River and you can even dine outside in warmer weather. It is usually packed on Friday nights so it may be hard to get a seat without waiting. The food is great and very...casual. Sitting at the bar is always fun too. Great staff as well.
