A Casa Do Vizinho - Funchal

Small restaurant with high quality menu. Food took time, good food should. Jazz music played in background and very attentive waitrer and waitresses. Fillet mignon is good there. Creme brulee exceptional. Smoke duck starter Id also recommend.Some Children may find it a little different but my youngest ate all his meal. We felt very welcome there. Would love to try a late evening . Great for couples.

Due to lack availability at Terrerio Concept we found Casa do Vizinho, what a great find. The food is excellent and the staff are polite and efficient. A concise menu of well cooked, excellent food and a very acceptable wine list makes this an absolute gem. As you can see we were one of the last to leave. Worth a visit or two

La terrasse intérieure étant fermée pour travaux, nous sommes allés sur le terrasse extérieure, où le bruit de la rue était fort désagréable; de retour jours plus tard , nous avons demandé une table à l'intérieur, dont l'aménagement est très agréable.Pour ces visites, nous avons été enchantés par la cuisine très gouteuse avec des présentations agréables. Le service est de bonne qualité, avec une chaleur particulière dans l'accueil. Bon rapport qualité-prix. Mérite l'attention dans ce quartier des hôtes particulièrement fourni en offres de restauration

Despite only 1 server/heat in the whole restaurant everything was really very fast (early surprise). the food was good and large portions, with authentic food madeira. it was slightly overpriced against others therefore 4*. also, I felt really bad at the end, they only accepted cash tipp (only place on the island I was where they would not accept, my add more money on the bill

It happened to stop in this restaurant in the center of funchal, madeira, and it was a very beautiful surprise! the whole food was very tasty, the waiters very nice and friendly, at the end I enjoyed very the time I spent in this restaurant. absolutely recommended.
