Peach Village Chinese Restaurant

We were recommended this licensed restaurant by our motel host, and they were right - it's a great restaurant. The food was excellent and the table service was fantastic. We would definitely dine in or order takeout again.

Four of us who were in Melbourne for business trips stopped by for dinner. We opted for the premium banquet and were impressed with the delicious san choi, steak, and seafood. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, and the service was friendly. The restaurant had beautiful decor and comfortable seating. While we found the wine selection a bit basic, we were pleased to learn that they support local producers. When we asked if they had high-quality wines on the menu, they were able to accommodate us. We will definitely be back when we are in Maryborough!

I decided to give this restaurant a try after hearing about their large portion sizes, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The prawn cutlets were just basic frozen ones and not the traditional Chinese style king prawn cutlets I was expecting. The dim sims only had bland mince filling and the short soup was lacking in flavor. The fried rice seemed to be boiled and not fried at all. The garlic king prawns were tasty, but difficult to eat. Overall, I didn't think this restaurant had the best Chinese food in Victoria.

A light, airy, comfortable room. pleasant helpful staff. the standard menu can be found in most Australian Chinese restaurants. our meals were tasty and we were happy.

Walked into a super clean restaurant with very nice minimalist design. Very classy!! My husband and I ordered chicken curry with vegetables and I the satay beef. We shared a hot and sour soup and my girls shared a lemon chicken with fried rice. Every...dish came out hot. Every dish had plenty on it and it was very fresh produce. The food was delicious. Writing this I could eat it again.!! Much needed break from the typical camp fare of sausages and bread!! If you need some decent old school Chinese, that's full of flavour and the service is professional and friendly, Peach Village is totally worth a visit!
