La Vieille Forge - Mesquer

We were and enjoyed the restaurant a few years ago when it was led by previous owners and wondered if it could be so good this time. that was it! excellent at every level. welcome. ambiente. restaurant decoration. atmosphere. selection of dressed and...menus wines. in short, everything. the photos on the website are exactly as the food is presented. we went twice in a week, once alone and then two days later with four friends who were all enthusiastic. I wish we had lived closer.

This is the first time that the evaluation does not have the quality, interior or service. 7 minutes too late and apologise to the waiter/host arrogant, to tell us that next time we have to be on time. first impression. the interieur is outdated (80’s-*90’s look) and... quickly depressing. the small toy aquarium with a fish in it was the final touch. eating was like the inner and the service, seemingly good intentions with a serious scare of arrogance. it started with dried amuse bouches in a baked. the sauces are very, very rich and there is too much focus on a strong palette per dish. to finish a positive note, the desert was in order.

Perfect finesse of impeccable quality dishes, perfect service, perfect presentation nothing to reproach excellent. I'd say more than perfect.

We had lunch on Sunday noon in this restaurant. the reception was very pleasant and warm. The dishes were excellent, as beautiful as watching and eating. a mix of very original colours and flavours. a real pleasure, and for a good value / price. Do a redo!

Staff welcoming and well managed by the room on their own, but rather expensive menu and few choices and there are no other à la carte dishes. however the between foie gras and honey dessert was very good a bit disappointed by the rabbit damage that there is no red meat in a menu a €
