La Cordonnerie - Paris

I had never been to Paris before and my wife wanted me to have the best pommes Frits in town. So she researched and found that la Cordonnerie is three doors down from our hotel and was the best steak and pommes Frits in this arrondissement! So we had to try it. We made a reservation and we’re looking forward to going. Unfortunately a tour we were taking ended up going way over time. However we called and they said they would wait for us! Having nothing else to compare with, I can assure you that this was the best I have ever had in Paris! It was wonderful. My wife is a vegetarian. They don’t have much on the menu for vegetarians, but they made her a special meal that she just raved over. The bread they served us was amazing. I cannot rate them high enough. You owe it to yourself to go to this small but ever so wonderful bistro.

We randomly found this restaurant before our visit to the Louvre. We got so lucky! The customer service was on point. Our waiter was welcoming and the chef even came out to explain the menu to us. We ordered the ravioli, pressed pork, steak/frites, fish and the pear mousse. All were incredibly delicious! Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant!

In planning our trip to Paris we searched dozens of restaurant menus trying to find one that served classical Escalope de Veau. La Cordonnerie was our choice. Today we had lunch there and it was fabulous! We were seated next to the small kitchen and could observe and speak with the Chef/owner. Great food, impeccable service and a truly enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

A little restaurant or you eat divinely well. There are 2 rooms in one of her, the one I prefer, you are in front of the chef who prepares his little dishes ... a real show. He is a real enthusiast who prepares his dishes with quality products. You see him working and you can't wait for it to come on his plate! I went to eat several times in this restaurant and I was never disappointed. prices are based on the quality of the products. If you're looking for low cost, go your way. Otherwise, you're in the right place.
