Le Gorille Blanc - Paris

This was probably the best meal I had in France.__So, Yelp directed me to this place when I was doing a solo ramble.

A gem of a place that is great for a more intimate dinner.

We rented an Airbnb right above this restaurant, so of course we had to try it.

When in Paris, over the years I patronized this restaurant regularly, if not often, first in their 7th arrondissement location and then at the present one. Cheap for lunch, more expensive at night but always friendly and very good. It had been a while. The place -very loud- was full, mainly, but not only, with foreigners. I had a feeling that prices were more contained than I remembered. The waiter, attentive, witty and charming. The food. the starter was not very well prepared; my lamb was hard and the dash of sauce didn't work well with it. My friend's offal portion was very, very tiny and, he said, chewy and bad. As he's an experienced cook, I tend to believe him. I was disappointed, he was frustrated. As the owner and his waiter are so extremely nice, this is a real shame. How about a new Chef in the kitchen?

I went to this place on the indication of a friend who loves it, but I came in front of it found that the club is closed. from outside everything appears dismantled, I did not understand whether they are doing it or if it just stopped the activity, so be careful, check before you go there!
