Les Portes - Paris

A friend recommended this comfortable little restaurant and I'm so happy that we went there. service was pleasant and food and wine were wonderful. the camembert and the scallops in the oven were the strengths for me!

We tergiversed in front of this restaurant on the rue de charonne, it was our last night to bet and we had eaten in other places along the street and we simply couldn't decide what to do. We were spotted by some people who convinced us that we should try the place. overall, they were right, it's a good restaurant. We had the roast duck magret in a gaie sauce and a steak with shallots and potatoes jumped - quite traditional choices but there were also other things on the menu. We had no entrance because we had already taken a plate of cheese and wine in a wine cellar nearby. here, the portions were quite copyy, so remove any desire for dessert afterwards, which was a little bit of a shame in a sense. the wine map was good, we chose a 50cl red pichet as it is our habit in france. the service was friendly and efficient.

My husband and I fell on this bistro in search of another restaurant and the food that everyone ate at lunch looked so good that we abandoned the other place and sat down. We were not disappointed. the beef I had was one of the best I had eaten with paris and it was perfectly cooked, they had an excellent wine map and a charming atmosphere. We're planning to go back for dinner next time we're going to town. We have lunch outside, but we loved the inside when we entered to use the toilet and look forward to coming back for another meal. The waitress was very nice. . . excellent service.

I recently ate here looking for a place typically French to eat, which was more difficult than I imagined to bet. the food here was delicious

I ate here twice in the last two months. the two times, the food was really good and fresh and the atmosphere very comfortable. It was only the first time that the waitress or the director was very rude to the rest of the staff, which made us very uncomfortable. The second time, there was a very nice new waitress who made our meal even better with its super service and its smile.
