This is a fantastic place to hang out and enjoy some margaritas. The best tables overlook the Malecon and make for great people-watching. The food was amazing every time we went. The salad on the plate was almost as delicious as the shrimp! Many thanks to Laura, our waitress. She was warm and welcoming making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place.
Horrible experience, all the staff are incredibly rude. Really bad environment. The manager Matias was the worst out of all the employees. Really made me feel uncomfortable. The bartender Jose was the only person there giving out good service. Barely any customers there, I’m flabbergasted that the owner would still keep employees like that. Especially the Manager Matias.
This restaurant is located on the corner of Corona and Paseo Díaz Ordaz 538, Centro, 48300 Puerto Vallarta, Jal., Mexico, right on the Malecon. It is not wheelchair accessible, and there is an approximate 20-25 stair climb. Cash Only accepted. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, and were immediately seated at a table facing the ocean. Beautiful view of the Malecon and ocean The waitress was very friendly and even leveled the table for us as it was wobbling. We ordered two calamari entrees. Both were cooked to perfection, accompanied by a green salsa. Best calamari I 've ever had. Worth the 159 pesos about $13.00 Cdn). I ordered the Shrimp Linguini in a tequila cream sauce. Garlic toast was served on the side. There was a generous portion of shrimp. The dish was good, but a little pricey at 259 pesos for lunch about $20.00 Cdn). Cheryl had the Steak Fajitas. This came on a sizzling plate to the table, with tortillas, refied beans and tortillas. She is not familiar with mexican food, but thought it was good. 319 pesos about $25.00 Cdn). I would return simply for the calamari. Only thing I found that the drinks were expensive. 40 pesos $3.00 Cdn) for a small bottled water and 50 pesos $4.00) for a small diet coke.
Good prices for the location. Nice view of the sunset right on the beach. We were happy with our drinks, service and dinner. Note that this restaurant does not accept visa. Everything changed when we got our bill. We were overcharged by 30 . When questioned, we were told that it was the tip already added. Way too much. We paid the proper total and left, never to return!
