I agree with other raters, it is a busy yet very nicely quiet place and I enjoyed my food very much. I had the Tokusen menu which consists of various sorts of sushi, sashimi and Maki and includes salmon teriyaki, rice and pickled vegetables. All in all a nice experience.
Food was OK, had sushi, seaweed salad and noodles for our son. Service was good, great with children and place was busy but quiet.
Centrally located, the cooking is very high quality...whether Sushi or tempura, food is fresh, appetisingly presented and served with a smile. Reserve as this is popular at lunch with business crowd.
Of the many sushi restaurants in Vienna EN ist the most Japanese. Appetizers include fermented soy beans and other specialities normally hard to get in Vienna. The fish at EN is freshest and sushi as well as sashimi are of rare quality. House saki is delicious and reasonable. A very special place and surprisingly affordable.
A friend of mine arranged a lunch here and I was skeptical after reading the TA reviews but she lives nearby and said En was a favorite. I was very pleasantly surprised then and we enjoyed a very nice and tasty lunch. The front room is much brighter than the back room but we were seated in the back so we could have a larger table as my friend brought her baby. Waitress was very accommodating and also brought a high chair. I enjoyed the tempura very much including the salad which accompanied it - very tasty dressing. My friends enjoyed their meals as well. En has a good long list of lunch specials for around 9-10 euros which includes miso soup as a starter. We were the first to arrive at 11:30 when it opened but by 1:00 it was quite full.
