Casa das Velhas - Vila Nova De Cerveira

Loved this restaurant. Set way up on hill/mountain with winding roads. Multi-tiered outdoor seating with great views overlooking the valley, Minho River and Spain. Seating are covered with grape vines which made for great ambiance. Pricier than most of the local restaurants but with great food and service and location it was well worth it.

It’s way up on a hill and well worth going to even if not for a full meal. Reservations are recommended as it’s not all that large and well known by those in the area. The service has become a bit quirky due to change of staff but the food and wine on offer still make it desirable. Not cheap by local standards but chic enough to cause a good impression.

Pedimos shitake com trufa (inestimável talvez pela quantidade de alho que não faz sentido neste prato). Salada de burrata e salada rica e bem apresentada. Bacalhau grelhado que não era bacalhau grelhado, mas sim bacalhau seco, reaquecido e que não tinha tocado numa brasa. Ficamos com a sensação de que pagar pelas vistas a comida não está de acordo com os preços.

Endereço muito bom, um ótimo cenário, um mapa lindo, realmente muito bom.
