Sonne Winterthur

War das erste mal dort und sehr enttäuscht, nicht empfehlenswert, habe reklamiert wegen lauch und saucisson; es kam leider keine reaktion retour

Hier haben Sie eine recht grosse Auswahl, obschon sehr viele davon Röstivarianten sind. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Bedienung recht schnell. Wir hatten Kalbsleberli mit Rösti, wobei die Portion eher zu gross war. Auch der Wein war sehr gut. Da das Restaurant im 1. Stock ist, sieht man es von der Strasse aus kaum.

My girlfriend and I came here in on August—a quiet Tuesday evening. This charming Swiss restaurant is next to the high street in Winterthur. If this were an examination, the Zur Sonne restaurant would have passed with flying colours (they did everything by the...book). Tasty, well spiced and well cooked Swiss food served with Swiss efficiency. The ingredients were fresh and the meat dishes were cooked from real stock. TIP: this would be the perfect place to bring tourists eager to try authentic Swiss cuisine

If you are thinking to yourself, gee, I think I'd like something Swiss, then there is no better place to head than this restaurant. If you are not Swiss youself, no matter, because everytime I've been here I'd say of the diners are in...fact Swiss locals, and they keep coming back because it's great food at a fair price in an unbelievable friendly and social environment. In my own humble opinion they have especially taken that iconic Swiss dish Rösti to tge next culinary level I think it's almist fair to say, you haven't really tasted Rösti until you've tasted one here.

First evening in Switzerland we have been here... The historical oven is a very nice. A very nice place for tasting some traditional suisse food. Fondue, raclette, rosti... Everything very tasty!
